Sydney midfielder Josh Kennedy says he's spent little time fretting about teammate Michael Talia's drugs charges - it's last weekend's AFL loss to Hawthorn he's been losing the most sleep over.

Kennedy admitted news of Talia's arrest had been a distraction for the Swans earlier this week, but was adamant the team was focused on rebounding from their thrilling five-point Hawks loss against Carlton on Saturday.

"We've got bigger fish to fry this weekend. We've fallen out of the top four with the loss last weekend, so our focus is solely on trying to redeem that and win this week," Kennedy said on Thursday.
